Your Gas Boiler and Central Heating Sytem, just like your car, need looking after to ensure they're running as they should be. And, like your car's annual MOT, the primary reasons are:
Efficiency - deposits build up in the boiler which reduce the efficiency, which means higher gas bills
Maintainance - regular servicing reduces the likelihood of a breakdown
Safety - protect your home and family from harmful emissions (like the silent & deadly carbon monoxide) with an annually serviced boiler and appliances.
Full air tightness test to track down cold spots and wasted
heat
The
test shows all significant air leaks throughout the building,
not just around windows and doors

Energy
Rating – your rating (from A to G) shows how relatively
efficient your home is, depending on its age, and how far it
is from reaching its energy efficient potential.

A
comprehensive report – your survey results
along with improvement options, plus costs and potential savings
A comprehensive survey will take around 1 1/2
to 2 hours. During the air leakage test all windows and openings
to the outside
need to be closed, but otherwise there will be no disruption
to your home.
It would helpful if you have recent energy bills
available to allow accurate costing calculations and costs.
